Storyblocks is a leading stock-media subscription platform empowering creators to produce high-quality video content. As a Product Marketing Intern, I focused on data-driven product marketing. My role combined project management, quantitative analysis, competitive intelligence, and GTM planning to strengthen product messaging and support the release of new AI features.

The What

  • User Data Analysis: Queried and cleaned data from over 78,000 user profiles using SQL and Python to segment audiences and measure engagement metrics. I applied statistical testing to identify messaging patterns correlated with higher open and click-through rates, then translated those findings into actionable recommendations for email campaigns and sales enablement materials.

  • Competitor Intelligence System: Designed and implemented an automated competitor-tracking workflow by integrating Gong and Owler APIs. I built scripts to pull call transcripts, market announcements, and pricing updates for more than ten competitors, storing them in a centralized database and generating weekly insights decks. These decks highlighted feature gaps and market shifts for the Product and Go-to-Market (GTM) teams.

  • Product Launch Preparation: Collaborated with product managers and marketing leads to create market briefs, messaging frameworks, and launch timelines for AI Voiceover and Video Editing tools. I produced sample creative assets and ensured cross-functional alignment so that both features were ready for a smooth, on-time release.

The How

  • Drove a ~10% lift in email open rates by enabling more targeted, evidence-based messaging.

  • Equipped Product and GTM teams with a live competitive-intelligence dashboard and insights deck that guided roadmap prioritization and feature differentiation.

    Supported the successful on-schedule launch of AI Voiceover and Video Editing tools, improving Storyblocks’ positioning in the fast-evolving creative-AI market.
